WHAT HAPPENS IF SOMETHING BREAKS

 

 

Direct Moves (no storage involved):

  • The clock starts when BMC arrives at the origin address
  • The clock stops when everything is unloaded, assembled, and arranged to your satisfaction at the destination address
  • A pre-disclosed mileage charge is then added to the bill
  • A pre-disclosed fuel surcharge is then added to the bill
  •  
  • If applicable, any fees related to Increased Declared Valuation will be applied to the bill
  • If applicable, any fees for shrink-wrapping upholstered items is then added to the bill
  • If applicable, any packing materials fees are added to the bill (boxes, tape, etc)
  • If applicable, any packing services fees are added to the bill (if BMC did any packing for you)
  • If applicable, any other services requested by customer and performed by BMC are added to the bill (e.g., extra truck, hoisting, parking permit acquisition, etc)

 

Moves into storage:

  • The clock starts when BMC arrives at the origin address
  • Once everything is loaded onto the truck, the time to drive back to the warehouse and the time to unload at the warehouse is estimated, and then added to the bill
  • A pre-disclosed mileage charge is then added to the bill
  • A pre-disclosed fuel surcharge is then added to the bill
  •  
  • If applicable, any fees related to Increased Declared Valuation will be applied to the bill
  • If applicable, any fees for shrink-wrapping upholstered items is then added to the bill
  • If applicable, any packing materials fees are added to the bill (boxes, tape, etc)
  • If applicable, any packing services fees are added to the bill (if BMC did any packing for you)

  • The clock starts when BMC starts to uncrate your goods at our warehouse
  • The clock stops when everything is unloaded, assembled, and arranged to your satisfaction at the destination address
  • A pre-disclosed mileage charge is then added to the bill
  • A pre-disclosed fuel surcharge is then added to the bill

  • If applicable, any fees related to Increased Declared Valuation will be applied to the bill
  • If applicable, any outstanding storage fees will be applied to the bill
  • If applicable, any other services requested by customer and performed by BMC are added to the bill (e.g., extra truck, hoisting, parking permit acquisition, etc)

 

Moves With On-Truck Overnight Storage:

Day 1

  • The clock starts when BMC arrives at the origin address
  • The clock stops when the loaded truck(s) is parked at our warehouse
  • A pre-disclosed mileage charge is then added to the bill
  • A pre-disclosed fuel surcharge is then added to the bill

Day 2

  • The clock starts when BMC leaves our warehouse with the loaded truck(s)
  • The clock stops when everything is unloaded, assembled, and arranged to your satisfaction at the destination address
  • A pre-disclosed mileage charge is then added to the bill
  • A pre-disclosed fuel surcharge is then added to the bill
  •  
  • If applicable, any fees related to Increased Declared Valuation will be applied to the bill
  • If applicable, any fees for shrink-wrapping upholstered items is then added to the bill
  • If applicable, any packing materials fees are added to the bill (boxes, tape, etc)
  • If applicable, any packing services fees are added to the bill (if BMC did any packing for you)
  • If applicable, any other services requested by customer and performed by BMC are added to the bill (e.g., overnight storage fee, extra truck, hoisting, parking permit acquisition, etc)

 

 

Forms of Payment Accepted:
  • Checks (preferred)
  • Cash
  • Credit Card (2% added to your final bill for a processing fee)

 

 

 

PAYMENT TERMS:

Payment in full is due as services are rendered, upon presentation of charges.
